Large gaming company in Boston, MA is currently seeking a Senior Graphic Designer. The Senior Graphic Designer will be the lead designer for all marketing materials. This person will need to provide strong design leadership while working on a variety of design projects in support of our marketing and communications objectives. Typical design projects include GUIs for our websites, banner advertisements, logo treatments, as well as occasional package and print advertising work.
The person in this position must display the ability to design effective communications under tight deadlines, be able to work well in both close-support and more independent roles, and be able to provide visual brand stewardship for the company and its products.
Responsibilities:
· Interactive design for web and ad units, including flat graphics, Flash, and limited HTML
· Traditional design for logos, box art, and print advertising
· Art support for community sites, including screen optimization, Photoshop action development, and asset management
· Visual brand management
· 3D Design & Animation
· Broadcast Design / Video Editing
Requirements:
· Skilled with all standard Adobe and Macromedia applications
· Some experience with print software such as InDesign or QuarkXpress
· Demonstrated production environment veteran
· Proven advertising and marketing materials design skills
Pluses:
· Understanding, appreciation of the online game market
· Consumer-friendly design sensibility
