CGTalk - The Artpad Phenom!

Ok, what better a place to start an Art.com's Artpad post!

For those of you who havent found this nifty little drawing toy yet, here it is. Artpad records the way you draw, and then saves it for everyone to see.

Heres an example:

I'm not the best, but it gives you the idea - be sure to drag the re-play speed ALL the way up to fast, and once you get bored - hit the "Skip to ending" button to see the finished work.

Then create your own and post it here for all to see!

With such a broad range of talent, we should be able to get some pretty cool images out of this thing.

Warning: it IS addicting.

Ah yes, Artpad. Insanely cool little web app, but can also be insanely frustrating to use. At least with my experience, the brush strokes got extremely laggy after not too long, but otherwise lots of fun to play with.

Nice painting, btw. :)

yeah, the best part is seeing how people go about creating what they do.

as well as seeing what they can do with such a simple program.
