View Full Version : Loop biped animation
Hi!
I have a biped animation of 30 frames and I want it to repeat and repeat until frame 400 or so, is that possible? when I clone keys the legs screw and disappear, so I guess that's not the way.
Thanks people :)

hi there. you might try the motion flow tutorial that comes with max. im not entirely sure if it will allow you to get the results your looking for, but i know you can use motion flow to combine several BIPs into on larger BIP. perhaps you could use that to loop your clip

Have you tried "out of range types" ?
you can find it in the curves editor
select a track and then go Controller>Out of Range Types
Unless by biped you meant CS Biped :)
In that case go to the motion panel having selected your animated biped objects and start the workbench.
Open Max Helpfile and search for Track View Utilities
It will be ranked 10 in the search results go there and see how you can do almost the same thing in CS.

Totally :D
Anyways I found out a way to do it by the simply shift+drag method in the lower trackbar. It gave me some keyframe bugs but I solved them :)

well shift and drag is fine too i guess :)
or you could simply make a block of animation and copy paste it in the mixer as well...

Try and press the "IN PLACE MODE" button on the CS tool bar and play your animation. I think this method may be of help.
