Hey All,

Just finished a test render of a character I've been working on for a while (ok a long time now). I've just started to chuck some rough animations onto it too so I thought I'd let it loose over here and get some C&C.

Thanks :o)

P.S. it's only a meg
P.S.S. also I know it's a bit dark...

Really nice model, I love the "steering wheel" in top of it's back. The wing action is really great, as well as the paws running. Only prob is the grass with paint effects, it makes you dizzy just to look at things in the test. good job, keep updating it:thumbsup:

Hey everyone,

Thanks for all the feedback...

Feeank : Thanks for thinking I did this in maya :o) that always tickles the funny bone of a max user... re the handlebars, this is actually the second version of the cat I've done, one of the main differences being the 'saddle' is the right proportions with the neccessary doodads to support a rider (see my website at www.ultramedia.com.au (http://www.ultramedia.com.au) for more)

Franklyn : The wing blades are animated by putting them inside an FFD modifier (one for each blade) and animating the control points to stretch from inside one wing rib to its neighbour.

oopps, I only use maya so I tend to think in the way this package works, for me any grass I see I guess is made with PFX:) No max-basher here anyway.

About the walk cycle my only knit is the slow walk, it feels like he's moving both paws from one side at the same time. Great concept, would like to see a more finished render of it in the future:)
