To be alive - its simple
To die - no problem
To be dead - it cant be done

The moment you are dead
you can no longer feel
think
recall
Because you cannot think, you
cannot know you are dead.

Life is useless. The moment you are dead, you can
longer recall, you cannot think of good times,
you cannot think of bad times. Even if you died
in pain, you cannot recall it. Your life doesn't
matter when you are dead ... why even live?

This is another one (and last one) in the galery of "styleful and simple". I hope its art enough to be posted here. Let me know what you think of it. O yeah because this is a finished piece (this forum is called "Gallery/Finished Work" for a reason) im not gonna change it but comments, critics and suggestions are always welcome (for the next pieces).

For the record, im not suicidal nor depressed. Im not trying to get other people depressed either. This is just an artwork with a thought

Of course your code inherently assumes the view that there is no afterlife. And I take the liberty to presume you're an atheist.

Nothing wrong with that, I believe the same. Just that your line of thought relies on that assumption, so not necessarily universal.

Hmm, yes, a bit depressing. I'm not really sure how suicide fits into the concept...

But, on a lighter note - to answer your question: Because it's better to have lived and died, than to never have lived at all. Also, it can be damn good fun.

...even if you won't remember it. :D
