Well, to be honest I'm noe sure what she is suppose to be. Perhaps I'll add some effects around her hand to show she is some sort of magician? I don't think this fits in the 'Finished Works' section because everything I see there is so, pro :sad:. But if I get enough help and work on this painting some more maybe I can submit it to that section.

Any suggestions would help, be honest please.

One thing you might want to think about is the amount of "empty" space to the right of her. It tends to draw focus away from your main figure. You could try flipping your canvas horizontally so that she is on the right side (our eyes move from left to right...toward her instead of away), and maybe work some more on the swirling background so that it swoops in tighter to her, also drawing our eyes to her instead of away.

I THINK IT'S GREAT...JUST KEEP ADDING DETAIL MAN...DON'T JUST SETTLE WITH THAT...YOU HAVE THE SKILL OF A PRO ALREADY...YOUR SENSE OF COOUR AND MOOD ARE IN BEGINER STAGES BUT YOUR WELL ON YOUR WAY DUDE....JUST TWEEK TWEEK..AND ADD MORE DETAIL...LIKE SHADOWS, WRINKLES....WHATEVER...JUST DON'T GIVE UP CAUSE OTHER PEOPLE ARE MORE ADVANCED. YOU HAVE POTENTIAL.....KEEP IT UP:thumbsup:

looking good! i think you should put more of the purple into the side where the character is , because my eyes keep getting drawn over there , maybe some more of that in the character and it will balance it out
good work so far :)

Thank you for your comments.

I changed it around a little. I flipped it horizontally so that it leads the viewer's eye from left to right. I made her into a Dark Priest :twisted: by darkening her overall colours slightly and adding a Dark Bolt Attack thingy at her hand.
