View Full Version : Cat girl
jjhei 06-20-2005, 09:22 PM Hello, I've been stalking for a while and just want to share two drawings I recently did. I would like to know what can be improved.
They are two versions. The like the first, but was told the hand coming to the front looks awkward, therefore I just changed it.
Thank you.

Picture #1 looks more accurate to me. Her right hand is in its proper place if she's blocking her left ribs while striking forward.
Pic #2 looks a bit odd. We should see her right shoulder behind her left as she draws her right elbow back. Her right elbow is set too high. She's made a "gun" with her right hand.
I like your inking style, BTW. It's rough, kind of savage and reminds me of Klaus Janson's style.

Ilikesoup: Thank you for your crits and compliment. I'll fix the 2nd picture, I didn't notice those problems. As for Klaus Janson, I do not know who he is, but I'm curious so I'm going to go check him out now.
***EDIT***
I changed lowered the arm and tried to show her right shoulder a little more...
