Hi,

I just got a new optical mouse, and usually I press the scroll wheel in with the Pan and Zoom tool to zoom in and right click to zoom out. But with the new mouse, the scroll wheel pops up the options cricle to the scroll wheel and you have to choose stuff like stop, back, forward, etc. My question is how can I find a way to see another button or way to switch the key command to zoom in on the various viewports.

What brand is it? Logitech, Microsoft or others? The function you described sounds like Logitech's default function for middle button. You can assign it to function as a "middle button" in Control Panel -> Mouse, Button tab.
