Hi..

I know many of you have seen this over at the WIP gallery, but maybe itīs new to some people. Thank you all for the great feedback I got making this image.
It helped me a lot. :beer:
This is the Final version of it. Yes I know I could work more on it, you always can. But I want to start a new project now.
I hope you like it.

Itīs all done in Lightwave.
The image size is 720 * 1000 pixels.
And it took over an hour to render on my old PowerMac 400 Mhz.

The robot looks great especially nice detail in the joints. its all a matter of taste but the feet definatly look a little odd to me in their short squat shape.

However overall a very nice image.

What a sad picture! What's the story here? Is that a girlfriend? Father? I like the modeling a lot. Just made me say "aw!" :)

The picture can tell many things but Iīm thinking of it the same way as CHRiTTeR do.

CHRiTTeR:
-"What this picture tells me is about the robots in the future who are being abused by humans (slaves). But what the humans forget is that they build the robots so advanced (AI) that they have real emotions. This little robot died because he was not properly taken care of. So the big robot is sad: "Why did they give us emotions, if the only thing we know is missery? When will they learn...?"

yah this turned out very good. The pose is a little weak but overal its really good.
