Hi lads and lasses.

Here is a CG composit I did of my head exploding. It's originally a joke ending to my documentary on the making of my 'Kid Wars' film (http://www.mikeburn.com/video/making-of-kidwars.asf), but for those that dont want to download 30 megs for 2 seconds of "fun surprise", here is the short version.

haha,this reminds me of mortal combat fatalities for some reason :)

technically very nice but it's a bit "mild"

the sound could be more intense and of course,
there's no blood on the camera - a major flaw ;)

also,metal looks a bit too clean to me

that is a wonderful pice you did. I really liked learning about the short, I thought that it was good.

Thanks for putting in the extra effort to make this pice.

There is a high resolution quicktime up now. It doesnt play well on my PC but you can single step through it...QT is notorious for not keeping up w. itself on some computers, and gets into a perpetual loop of trying to catch up instead of jumping ahead.....

Wow, really nice comp! Looks good......i was thinking of doing something similar to that actually :) If i get one done ill post it :)

LMAO!!...nice...i like how you press your forehead to activate it...i would have liked to see some blood n brain fly out too :D

I'm working on a sequel of this clip (or prequel if you will) where I disassemble my head... lets see how it turns out ;)

But blood... it's a robot f'chirsts sake. Hydraulic fluid maybe. Hmm. Which tend to be red. Hmm. Wait a minute... ;)
