View Full Version : edit uv's of multiple objects together
Aragami 06-19-2005, 05:49 AM Hello
Is there any way to edit uvs of multiple objects together in the same sheet whitout merging them .Every object has its own uv.
ex. in lightwave when i select multiple layer objects its uv appear on the sheet and i can edit them all...and export as .eps.
Can i do this with XSI?
Thanks.

Maybe no.You can merge them , and edit. Then when needed, extract polygon you want, and XSI can keep everything you've done.

merge the objects. you can now view all the uv's but the materials are still separated by clusters.

ElysiumGX ,ayan13 thanks for the response.
Ive merge the mesh already but i have to create clusters before i merge it.
what about exporting an eps file (or another format) of the uv?can i do that?
thanks again.

Yes, but maybe not eps but raster image files. In Textrue Editor, go to Edit/Stamp UV Mesh, short cut is Shift+s.
I usaully use a 1024 or 2048 square(it depends) black image.Plug it into the diffuse channel. and Stamp the UV.
