View Full Version : Multiply seeting-Photoshop?
Wycoff3d 06-18-2005, 12:46 PM Theres a setting that Photoshop has when using a tool like airbrush or paint brush called multiply. I use that for sometimes coloring lineart-does Painter have a setting like that? Thanks.

Can you explain? Im playing around with the demo and not to sure about this. Im thinking about finally getting Painter:thumbsup: and I really like the multiply setting in PShop. Lets me color with out coloring the lineart itself. Cool stuff. Ive had my eyes on Painter since forever. But I think with 9 I have to get it. Any other ways to color lineart?

The way I colour linework in Painter is to first get the lineart on the canvas, duplicate it to a new layer ( CtrlA, CtrlC, CtrlV ) now set that layer mode to multiply. Keep that layer on top and paint on layers underneath it, you can colour your work and the linework remains intact.
