kestas 06-18-2005, 07:04 AM hi,
I`ve currently bought a dual Xeons on a NCCH-DL motherboard
but the problem is that i noticed that the performance is is very poor
i began investigating  i`ve noticed that there arer only two buckets but in this case there should four right?
so in bios i truned to turn off HT and then i tried to render agian i`ve ended up only seeing only one bucket but there sould be 2
any ideas ? :surprised

sounds like your second proc isn't working. or i should say one of your procs isn't working. You'll have to go through the bios and find out some more info about your board's current state. I don't know too much about dual procs, but it sounded like what happened was that your board had one proc going with HT and then you turned it off (that's why you had the single bucket). what app are you using? might it only support one proc? hit ctrl+alt+del and see how many graphs show up for cpu in the performance tab. also take a look at your device manager.
btw, pics (screen shots) would help

sure you´re´using WinXP Pro?.. XPhome only supports one processor (with or without HT).
What OS have you and did you reinstall it on the new mainboard?

i have WinXP Pro
tommorow i`m going to my waranty support to see if they can say something
today i`we opened the PC and i`ve noticed that one jumper is placed diferently on CPU2 than in CPU in the motherboard manual it`s says that it`s set to a 4`pin but i use fans with 3pins
the first CPU is set to 3pin mode and it`s ok but the second CPU is set to 4pin mode could it be it ? (i think not cuz the second CPUs fan is working properly but he cpu is not)
