This is the last "cycle" WIP I'll be posting for a while, I promise! ;-)

I'd say this row cycle is in need of an hour of polish and fine tuning. Any thoughts?

Thanks in advance,

Hey jsburakoff,
This looks pretty good. The one thing I would try to do is have his shoulders move back as far as they can before allowing him to bend his arms and maybe bring his knees up a bit higher after the row to really show that he's trying to prevent himself from sliding off the seat since you're displaying so much wieght in the row.
Good job.

Adam.

I'm working on that, but I'm having a problem, his arms are "clicking" when the ik brings them from straight to bent. Anyone know a good way of dealing with that?

Not straighten them so much -- just close enough so that they look pretty straight. Another idea: it like the LowMan rig, right? -- if so, it allows you to move between IK and FK, so, for those problem areas, perhaps switch to FK.

Normally, that would work, but his arms are actually controlled by the oars. It was way easier to get the oar movement right, and then parent his IK handles into that. I ended up solving the problem by doing some "overdetailed" keyframing ;-)

Thanks though.

Here's an update, just needs a bit more polish.
