eyeon Software Inc. would like to thank Intelligent Creatures, CafeFX and Digital Dimension for their dedication and hard work on Mr. & Mrs. Smith.

“Fusion has been an integral part of our pipeline since the inception of Intelligent Creatures. For our work on Mr. & Mrs. Smith, we needed to create fully CG environments that looked and felt real. That meant our artists needed a tool-set that not only allowed creative freedom, but could also manage complex composites and large amounts of data. Our experience with Fusion had proven it had the chops for this type of high-end work and we were confident that our artists would have the tools they needed. We are very pleased with the results.”

Raymond Gieringer, President & Visual Effects Supervisor, Intelligent Creatures.

eyeon is pleased to announce that Fusion played an intricate roll in post production of

Mr. & Mrs. Smith. Along with this year’s explosive success of Frank Miller’s SinCity, and a recent film roster that includes The Aviator and The Adventures of Shark Boy & Lava Girl, eyeon is enduring a monumental stage of development and vast recognition within the industry. eyeon is scheduled to release Fusion 5 later this year, with a true 3D environment, securing a top role in the visual FX community.

“To have three of our clients working on one movie, all using Fusion, is incredible. Their success is our success. The release of Fusion 5 will enable our clients to greatly improve productivity and integration of their production pipeline. The powerful 3D compositing environment allows for more freedom of creativity and matching, with real world shots.”

Steve Roberts, CEO, eyeon Software Inc.

Thanks for the info! DF rulez sooo much! To see that so much cool studios use it for awesome jobs, drives me even more into 'playing with Fusion' :)

And to see the enchancements on the new version 5 is really amazing! The 3D environment features must be áwesome...! Really cool that there's finally a chance that 'the people who bought a Mac special to drive shake', should now buy a PC to drive DF5 (because as far as I understand Shake doesn't support réal 3D...?!)

You people at Eyeon are soooo cool! :buttrock:

Good luck at finishing the new version! ;) & Greetz,
Gijs

Man, my only problem (not really a "problem") is that the student version of Fusion costs about $AUD1,800 with the DX Plus 4 student version still weighing in at over AUD$1,000 :( Apparently my school used to use it but has moved to combustion.

I very quickly checked out Fusion and I really prefer the flow, but don't have the $$$. I realise it is a very high end product, but still . . .
