LIGHTER
Electronic Arts - Redwood City
We are looking for talented individuals who specialize in creating new and innovative lighting for the next generation of gaming technology. Working within our Lighting and FX team, you will be responsible for creating lighting rigs for environments and characters. When it comes to lighting skills, we are looking for someone capable of executing the lighting look across a variety of genres and assisting Lead Lighting artists in the development of the lighting look for EA games.
This is a project-based position, lasting 4 - 6 months in length.
Requirements:
Understanding of 3D lighting solutions.
A good working knowledge of at least one Major 3D software package (Maya, XSI, 3DS Max, etc.)
Quickly master in-house tools.
Take a provided design and complete work within provided style consistently.
Ability to work within a style including a style set by another artist/art director/ Brand Identity.
Core fundamentals, understanding of task, as well as light, form, shadow, and color.
Use of Compositing software
Able to meet import dates/milestones and work well in team environment.
