View Full Version : Net render 9.1 problem

Hi
I just instelled Net render client and it worked as it should. But after i updated it to version 9.1 the network settings won't open.
I have the same problem with the server ap.
Does anyone had the same problem? Any solution?

It's known bug. Open the client.init and server.init files in a text editor and type the info there, save. It actually goes faster this way with a lot of machines, since you don't have to start the apps doing the changes.

He he. update to 9.102 and it works again. Just tested and found that out...

Thanks' for the quick answer. I will try to change the init file.
I have 9.102 installed but that did not fix it here. Did you have the same problem with 9.0?

No I don't think so. If my memory serves me right, it is 9.101 that have this problem.

Now i changed the init files and it workes like a charm.

jeez i cant beleive i didnt get this thread!

9.102 didnt fix it here either.

however i will jsut set it in the text files and see what happens

it still won't open for me and some others either - maxon has not been able to recrete the issue so it is hard for them to find a fix.

i have looked all over tried a bunch of things and still won't work. editing the text file is pretty easy so that is not too bad of a "fix"

could probably just write a GUI frontend in AppleScript or Xcode for our nonadventurous users lol
