Alright, hopefully someone can help me. I'm not to computer savy and I was wondering what the best route would be to add more memory/ram to my computer. Ive been running Max 7.5 and Maya 6.5 but theykeep crashing on me and im getting tired of it.

I was thinking of getting... 2x K-Byte 512MB PC2700 DDR DIMM Memory

right now my specs are this...

I didn't see the model number of your motherboard listed there.

With only 2 DIMM slots then your solution of 2 x 512MB seems right.

If you are not already using an add-in graphics card, get one. You can then switch off the on-board graphics and free up some more of your scarce memory and perhaps get a better spec. at the same time.
