I need to upgrade the HD on my system.

I want to transfer everything to the new hard drive, remove the old hard drive, and then boot up from the new hard drive without any problems.

What is the best method for doing this? Will I need a software tool like Partition Magic or something? Or a boot disk with FDISK on it?

Thank you.

http://www.acronis.com/

Acronis True Image, very good tool for backup, can copy and enlarge partition with boot sector to bigger disk.
