Built this trendy living room using LW7.5 at work yesterday.
I'm pleased with how it turned out, just wanted some feedback from everyone.

Thanks,
Jason

I love the lamp shades and the floor...the couch and chair are almost perfect (except for those 3 or 4 Aqua (speculars) I guess). The rug and table tops need work...

awsome start though!

where is the TV bro? Jk. Its great but needs more around the edges, like maybe a cabinet or shelves along the wall with some DVD's stacked or stereo.

Thanks for the feedback, I appreciate your comments.

pluMmet - What would you suggest for the table top? I agree the rug needs work.

piajartist - I added the TV to it but I wanted to keep it simple for this post. I have started adding the walls, etc. Adds a whole other dimension of difficulty.

Jimzip - Thanks.

PureFire - I agree it looks unused. Needs to have peaks and valleys like a real couch. Is that what you mean?

I have more renders if anyone is interested :)

Thanks again,
Jason

a piece of wood as big as the coffie table is usually reserved for doors...even smaller tables are made from seperate pieces of wood. But if you did that, it would be too much wood in the scene.
2 things you might consider are a painted finish with some chips...maby looking like it had a few coats of paint or even glass. Mabey just a dark laquer would do...and obviously it's the tileing in the rug that looks so bad (worst thing in the scene really.)

anyway post your update:beer:

the update is nice. However, the floor looks much too shiny. I don't think I have every seen a hardwood floor that shiny.

The TV/VCR look a bit flat for some reason.
