Shreds 06-14-2005, 09:14 PM Hey everyone just finished a little ball animation last night. Just thought I would try and get some feedback since I start up Animation Mentor next week!

Very nice! I'd put a little more effort into showing how the balls move differently. The quick ball bouncing all over the place really makes the small one seem quick and bouncy, which is great, but when they both end up sliding at about the same speed, the effect is lost.
Great work!

I liked the squash & stretch, and the fact that the small ball feels lighter than the big one, except at the end when they colide with each other, to keep the feeling i think the small one should bounce faster than the red one...
Nice work

Thanks guys, it's great to hear some crits.
bigyuyo-
Are you talking about changing the character of the bounce through the whole sequence or just a specific section?
I'll make some changes, try to speed up the roll of the small ball at the end, and put up a revision soon.
Thanks Again.
Adam.

This is a good animation of weight and speed. the squash & stretch effect is real cool and i think you should add a pattern on the balls. this will show the roll of the balls instead of mistaking it for sliding, which i am sure you have all ready thought of. The end does look like the balls are moving at the same but in the last seconds the blue ball does get a little bit faster.
great work

Nice work, I especially liked it when the big red ball squishes the little one against the wall. Good luck w/ animation mentor!
