Hi all,

I uploaded a small lipsync test I did with the help of PoseMixer. Once the anim is done it's very easy to morph from one character to another (as long as the same mesh is used).

hi, Bunk - thanks for the movie.
Couple of questions:
Whatever happend to the Otto-Project?!! Not enough people interested?!
In that thread I asked you about a edge loop tutorial(?) -> read somewhere that youŽd written a tut on edge loops - would like to know where to obtain it. Thank you!

Wow, it's fantastic!

BTW: will you write a new human head modelling tut using new R8 modelling tools?

Around ten people are interested. It's still on as far as I'm concerned. Still have to prepare the files. It will be v8 project and since it's not realy out yet I figured I still had some time to waste on other stuff :)

Sorry, completely forgot to reply. Nope I never did a tut on edge loops. Did make some files available with some basic loops, but I'm afraid those are gone (switched provider and never retrieved the files). Wasn't anything to fancy.
Take a look at Otto and Meg it will tel you how I set up the loops.

Nope I won't do a new tut on head modeling. There are already a lot of tutorials on head modeling on the web. The new tools in v8 doesn't really make it necessary since the basics of the modeling didn't change. It's just a matter of adapting the new tools and that means practice =)

Hi Bunk - thanks for the reply! Glad to hear the Otto project is still on. IŽve studied the loops of Otto and Meg already - ofcourse - was just eager to learn more. YouŽve really come a long way since the Messie(?) tutorial - which I, sorry to say, didnŽt like at all. The few models of yours IŽve been able to find since, are really great!!! What happend? - spiraloid encounter?

Cheers

Nope discovered that one only 3/4 year ago. No it was the Nichemen site where I saw some awesome work (Bays' as well) that set my on the right track. That and a lot of practice brought me to my current level of modeling. Still searching for the perfect base mesh =)

Know that "problem":) Only wish Cinema had some more modeling tools - sigh -> next time around! ( Not to be misunderstood: I love R8 - what a leap!!) . Will check out the Nichemen site! Thanks!
