any ideas why my file might not load? its only 1.4 megs, about 10,000 verticies max. and i dont think it could have been corrupted or blender would give me a message. i try to open it and it just kinda freezes.

any help?

Are we talking about a .blend file, right?

It sounds corrupted. Try appending the information by chunks. Open an empty file, press Shift-F1 and see if you can navigate inside your troubled file. If you can, then chances are that you can recover some of the information.
