recently my max4.2 has a developed a bug :)
when i'm working on a low poly mesh with a meshsmooth modifier on top and show end result button is on, the viewport shows not only the low poly vertices, but the meshsmooth's one's aswell.
i dont' know if anyone has encountered this before, but if you do plz tell me or i'll have a nervous breakdown:(

Yep - it's a bugger alright... I thought that it was irradicated in the newer updates - but it cropped up a while ago for me.

You can apply an Edit Mesh modifer to the top of your stack (on top of the meshsmooth) to get rid of this whilst you're working on the base objects verts.
