I'm not quite sure what's going on in that video... can someone explain? do the pieces of glass contain the programs, and that thing they place them in runs the program? what?

thats pretty sassy.. I can see myself using that.. imagine playing games with that.. rpgs and the such, gotta get the quick movements going on setting up the right tree of moves/armour/weapons/attacks and what not then controlling it all on the fly.

mmmm very cool stuff.. like imagine you had like a fire, sand, ice node.. and then an attack node you could drag the sand fire and ice over to the attack to create glass! or use water instead of ice and you can have like molten glass flying at your opponent.. soooooooooooo cool.. i want i want i want!

t-toe.. i dont think its the glass that contains the program.. more like the glass are nodes telling the system what to load..

for the most part anyways.. like because you saw how he used the time machine glass to go forward and backwards through the weather node and the movie node and then he also did the drawing and then used the time machine node to play the drawing..

I'm sure the costs of this will be pretty ridiculous for awhile...
...but I have to admit, that was pretty cool.

I don't think its supposed to be a gaming platform.

if it is cheap enough, this could be really interesting for any card game ;)

What is it supposed to do? Is it doing anything useful/new or is it the useless last fashion gadget? I'm not sure i understand what's going on there...

new? hell ya, useful? perhaps..

Like.. Im not too sure why someone would choose this over a pc, but this is cool enough and I want it. and games would be sweet for it...

LadyMadusa - probably not, but can you imagine!

Solothores - I was thinking of that too when I saw the layout, instantly made me think of the stupid yu-gi-oh layout haha

Can Anyone think of ANY advantage that would have over doing the exact same thing with software? I mean we already have those things in a far more dynamic and effecient environment.

Remember when you had to physically load individual diskettes into your Apple to run any program? Remember how long that took? What a waste of R&D. They could have spent that time and money on making flying cars. Its 2005 people, we should have flying cars by now!

Amen, I'm all about the flying cars. It does look cool, but as far as functionality is concerned, I'm not sold on it yet. We'll just have to wait and see.
