CGTalk - Teddy bear Texture

i modeled this teddy bear and I was wondering if someone can point me to a tutorial where I can learn a good method to creating a nice furry texture I am trying shave right now but I am not sure if thats the right way to go. Any pointers would be appreciated.

I would use SPD for this. Check out some of the towel-type materials in the mini-challenge thread.

thanks for the tip. I downloaded yours and checked out how u did it. Finall outcome isnt spectacular or nothing but it wil do its just a very small clip for a video shot wil be like 3 sec very small on a bed u cant even tell detail well here is the bear.
