This might sound really stupid but I have just started experimenting with motionbuilder and want to export my character animation from motionbuilder to 3ds max.

Could someone please point me in the direction of a tutorial for taking animation from motionbuilder into 3ds max as I want to render the animation in max. I found tutorials for importing models from max to motionbuilder and then characterising it but can't find anything about exporting the animation.

Also does the fbx file format store animation information? If so is it just a case of setting up an animation sequence and then exporting an fbx file from motionbuilder and then importing it into max.

Cheers

have a look around 3dbuzz.com there is a motionbuilder vtm dealing with export from motionebuilder and import it to max.
