Hello cgtalk

I finished putting together my modeling demo reel a few days ago, and thought I'd share it here and get some c&c :). Here is a little montage so you know whats on it:

I also plan on updating it with some non-organic and some clothed characters too, eventually

Thank you for watching!

Awesome modelling skills but for the next time i would work a bit more on the presentation.
Right now its a bit "dry". You could have left out one 360 rotation (the viewportspin) because a vieport shot is not really important when it comes to untextured models. So imo one "rendered" spin and one "wireframe" spin would have been enough. And you should give information about the used sofware..
But all in all its a great representation of your artistic skills ;)

amazing work clay, just amazing, i dont understand why this is not front page btw. your schell sculpture looks insane, and seeing hulk finished...i have seen several hulks done in 3d and imo this is by far the best, nothing comes close. andyour wrestler guy, is just great anatomy all around. great modeling clay.

Thanks frameless, tim, and collings! Frameless, yeah I think you are right. I was worried it was a bit too long since its only 3 untextured models and it came in at almost 2 minutes :) So I re-rendered some wire shots that better blended with the lit shots, and recomped the reel and now its about a minute long. I'll have to update my web versions soon. Thanks for that suggestion, I think I like it much better now!

Collings, thanks for the compliments, and I do wish to be a character modeler. Well, not just a character modeler, rather an all around modeler. I havn't taken any courses and I'm not really planning too, so I hope by just continuing to model I can improve my skills until someone is willing to hire me :)

Oh, and tim! You need to get your reel together and get it on here! Wouldn't you rather have a job at a studio than baking sour dough ;)
