View Full Version : Convert tris to quads (quadrangulation) in Max?
I have this basically very clean mesh of terrain, but it's made out of triangle faces. Is quadrangulation of tris possible in Max? I'd just like to remove diagonal edges of quad faces.

It has some bugs though, like it changes the position of objects, but it works.

for that I simply would have selected 1 line going vertacle, one line going horizontle, hit ring and loop, then invert the selection and hit remove
it should remove the unwanted edges from a poly.

I take that back, triangles prevent loop and ring... what a ripoff.
