A quick question about mental ray version 3.0.5.

is it compatible with Maya 4.5 ??

I don't like working with beta versions so i steer clear of the mental ray 1.5 for maya 4.5 for a while..

Anyone knowing if mental ray version 3.0.5 can/still works on Maya 4.5 ????????

To my knowledge, 1.0 is and was as much beta as the current 1.5 beta, no purpose to use the 1.0.

1.5 is awesome.......a LOT better then 1.0, they fixed a lot of problems and it is a lot faster. It's also supposed to be able to use render layers (i havent been able to get it to do it the way i would like though) 1.5 is a major improvement to 1.0.......just dl it! :)
