This is a link to a short comedy animation I've just completed. Attack of the Fifty-Foot Fiends! There are different sized versions on there so take your pick.

The style is very much influenced by Graffiti and street art. Hand drawn images were scanned in and altered in Photoshop before being taken into 3DS max and made into 3D models and lit.

Comments welcome.

Hey, this 'short' was pretty interresting. I like the style of it, and I can see the graffitti style you tried to incorporate. The actual animation though, is a bit...Long and not to be rude, at some points boring with some un-neccessary bits.
I really like the style and I think you did it well, and there are some funny bits such as the stickman coming out the church, but if you're gonna fix it up, I think you need to shorten it.

Wasnt bad at all...it was a bit lengthy though didn't expect it to be that long...it was really hard to pin point bad animation because it looked choppy & stiff especaially with Cyberchops' movements but you might have intended his movements to be that way because he's a robot....also the short lost my intrest when they started making fun of Boltar being a gay squid...overall i'd say the short was okay but the story lacked

Soon2bAnimator: You're right, Cyberchops is supposed to be a bit jerky and well... rubbish. You won't believe how long it took to get it looking so rubbish!



The gay squid part is the funniest bit, keep watching!

Neat. Its a neat visual technique. Dialog and animation could use some punching up for next time. Im gonna try something like this myself.
