Does anyone know where I can purchace an older version of MAX? Do not quite have the funds to buy a new version.
It would be fairly safe to say that you can't. Because of that line between purchasing software and purchasing a license to use software, you pretty much have to go through AutoDesk and ask them if they'll give you a cheaper rate for an older version... but I doubt they will let you.
You can't actually buy secondhand versions of discreet software unless the company or person who owns it is either bankrupt or dead, and transfers the license to you.
What purpose are you using it for? If you're a student and want to learn, you can arrange to get max for a much cheaper price.
