View Full Version : camera import problem
YellYellYell 10-16-2002, 03:07 PM Hi,
I've created a stereocamera Setup.
Pleace have a look on it and test it. You can find it in the Attachment.
With this setup, everything is perfect. I can render both cameras seperatly. Just like I wish.
But, when I import these Camera setup into a new existing project, then Maya renders everything but not the view what I need to render.
Can someone of you help me ?
Why It doesn't works ?
greetings from the cold germany

I haven't yet looked at the file, but this may help: When you import the cameras into your project, you need to make sure your stereo setup is set to be renderable in the attribute editor. --And if you don't want to default camera in the scene to render, you can make it un-renderable in the same way.

Tanks for help, but.....
There is nothing to see in the attribute editor. Its only a emty grey editor with nothing in it. ??????????
It would be great, when you take a look on the file.

U sure you have the camera selected when you look at the attribute editor?
Just to make sure - select your camera, press Ctrl-A, then under Output Settings check renderable.

You problem is in the Render Globals most likely. Make sure you have the camera you want to render from, chosen in the pull down list. When you import into a new scene, the default RG settings are there, it doesn't take on any new settings, you have to set them youself.

Hey, it works.:airguitar
I've found the renderable checkbox in the Attribute editor of the camerashape.
And know it renders the camera I've chosen and the both camerashapes.
How can I render only the camerashapes ? Because the normal camera rendering isn't the correct view.
Thanks for help
