Ravix 06-07-2005, 02:58 AM Hi ,, Im wonder if anyone have cheat subsurface scattering in post and how do u did it
im thinking this way like somehow decrease the edges of the alpha chanels and have just a touch of incandence in two separte renders on the bottom of the original , but im not really sure how to decrease an alpha constanly :hmm:
if anyone have any ideas or coments or thoughts of how to do it plz need some help

thats more or less how I have seen it done in the past. Depending on the application you are using you can decrease alphas by either creating a light wrap effect or simply using a matte erode function and the blurring the result. Its not techically a sub-surface scatter render but the results can often be quite passable.
