Here is my new nature still. For the texture of the leafs and

the nepenthes plant I used Bodypaint and Photoshop.

Some postwork done with Photoshop

Love it!

The flowers couldn't look any better. If you were to work on anything more, I would say the leaves on the top could use a little more time. They look a bit grainy and don't have the transluscent/incandenscent feel like the others.
Great job and bravo for the original subject matter.

used sub surface?.. fantastic...

Yes , I used sub surface with different strength ( falloff with vertex maps) on the
nepenthes plant.
The cover of the plant , has got another material with other strenght of sub surface then
the body.
