Hi,
I'm very new to rigging/animating characters in 3ds max, and Im trying to rig my alien character for Hl2 Deathmatch use. I used max's Biped skeleton and lined it up with my alien mesh, then I unfroze him and put a physique modifier on him. Now I read I was suppose to edit the envelopes, but Im having troubles moving them. U get those double cages around the bones u want to use to influence the verticies on the mesh, but... its really hard for me to control them. I cant seem to get them to move/scale/rotate someways or select the right verticies. Is there some sort of trick to moving the gizmo to get your selection right?
