Heh..Nice idea!! I wish the character was a bit more interesting looking, but I understand it's only to test your animation skills.. The animation itself was pretty good, tho some of the cartoony actions seem over the top, such as the jump during the part with the first gun..Maybe next time add some color or somthing please just to make the character stand out..

good job

I like it! hopefully my opinions can help you out.

00:09, great walk, does a lot to set the mood

00:16, the right (idle) hand looks a little odd to me frozen the way it is.

00:35, I don't like how he slides back smoothly after fireing the machinegun, but I can't suggest something much better because this is pretty good the way it is.

00:48, I think the time between the flash and when he flies back is too long, it seems that he would be thrown back faster especially considering how close he is to the block.

00:57, the gun seems heavy enough but I think this is the weakest (although still cool) animation you have here. Firstly the gun seems to pass through his leg, then when he swings it around the motion seems off. Something that heavy seems like it should swing more when the character moves it around. You have the major swings down but see what it looks like with oscilations that take a little bit longer to even out, I am having a hard time trying to describe what I mean! Also I think he should look forward at his target before he shoots.

01:29, it looks like his head passes through the block, I was expecting a thunk noise!

01:43, the break apart is cool but it's weird how things seem to freeze after they have stuck to the ground. Can you carry out the sim(?) a little bit longer? Or failing that maybe you can let that final frame stay up there a little bit longer. I also feel that the final camera movement is a little too bouncy, maybe set it up as a simple dolly. If you are trying to get tricky with the camera moves to beef up the drama of the last scene maybe the movements should be more jerky and nervous and less bouncy smooth.

I hope all this helps. I like the animation and concept, the sound may need some work but overall nice piece!
