I am about to go freelancing in motion graphics. Got some smaller projects ahead and all. But I am real nervous about all this color matching - broadcast safe - color correction buisiness.
Basically I would like to hear, if itīs at all possible to get decent color / gamma previews over a dv cam connected to a basic (non professional) TV monitor?
And if so, have you got any tips on how to get the most out of a budget setup like this, I really need to get by on my budget setup, for the first small projects anyway?
And color matching. Clients have got their identities and all. What color matching profiles are most widely used in broadcast?
And any further hints / links would be highly apreciated!
