ppl always post their rendering time. how do i get that info effectively, the rendering windows just close when finish rendering.

How do I capture that info?

after renderening [and before doing anything else] look at the bottom of your max window, just below the selection lock toggle button you'll find that it states the last rendertime . . .

this dissappears right after you go do sommin tho . .

or pressing f9 again to see the last render time. hehe. ;)

eh yeah but that initiates a new render and that is not always desirable ;)

Usually when a render completes the last render time is shown in the status bar just below the time line. I admit this isn't always the case and I myself am foxed about the rules that govern when this shows and when it doesn't. :)
