Hi, this is my first post here.And my first picture made from scratch on the computer. I made this guy in sketchbook pro trial. I know its not that great compared to all the stuff on these forums, but I think its pretty good for my first. I was inspired by this http://www.cgtalk.com/showthread.php?t=150463

Hey, welcome to CGTalk! I like what you've done -- you were inspired by another piece and added enough new elements to make it your own. Your focus appears to be on making the robot believable -- his skin is screwed down at the edge of the face and there's something like a shock absorber that braces his head. Will your focus be on building the entire body or will you stay with this head shot and work on textures/surfaces? The red fiberglass shell could do with a nice Turtle Wax shine. :)

My only question is why his maker would bother with making a human mouth only to sew it shut?
