yeah, useless. but i saw it in this "trickz" sport.

it's only 2 secondes long, but i wanted to show it, since it's my 2nd serious try at moving a character!

crits are more then welcome!

doesnt work too good.
I see what the move is abbout, but it defenitely lacks flow and speed
the change from the kick to the flip is way to edgy
improve it and leave away those "rendergadgets" (grass and blue shader : )

hey mimo8!
thanks for taking the time to reply.
i agree that the movement isnt flowless. as for speed, i think the problem would be rythm more then speed itself. but there's something odd i must say

anyways, i uploaded the original video of the girl doing this trickz, so you could compare.

as for the "redergadgets", they're useless for sure, but it's more appealing to look at. (i rendered it first time without any work on light or atmosphere or any other crap, and it looked shitty...:D )

thanks again!

Hey there.

Great start!

As i see from the orginal, you have to short delay from the kicks top and then the flip, let him stand for another ½-1 second with straight up leg, then make the anicipation more visible when he starts to do the flip. as you may notice in the film she makes a few small jumps before the around kick, other than that i think you got it mostly right. Oh one more thing, you need to check the curves during the flip, its a "hichup" half way in the flip.

Looking forward for an update

certainly improved!

Now, you have to make him hold his upperbody position alittle longer, cause he has the leg out, but twist the body to early, its still some of the "flow" missing, but its getting there. For the "hitchup", its not really a hitch but the curves on the flip aint "curved" as an half O, its more /\ than O i think, work on thoose and it will sort out.

Keep us posted.:buttrock:
