View Full Version : How to delete a layout?
DSedov 02-17-2002, 10:39 AM I experemented a lot with layouts, now I don't know what to do with that huge list. I tried to delete every file, but unly uninstallation removes them compleatly. Any suggestions or ideas?

View > Taskbar
go to the icon of the layour, RMB and voila!!

Want to delete Layouts marked [user]. Did a search. Found this thread.
3 years ago maybe that would make sense to me. How do you do it now(march 2005)? I'm using XSI 4.2

The layouts are files on your disk, generally in the user directory, that you can simply remove.

In case this doesn't make sense to someone looking 2 years from now, he means your profile for XSI. Example, mine is stored here:
[network drive letter]:\XSI\profiles\Brett\Softimage\XSI_4.2\Application\layouts
Maybe it's different if you are a single user?
