View Full Version : extruded edges meshsmooth

I extruded the edges at the end of the model's suit so that it won't look connected to the pants. but now when i'm activating the meshsmooth modifier it looks like the faces that i extruded from the edge have different smoothing groups, even though they have the same

does any1 know what to do about it?

looks like the vertices are not welded.
Weld the vertices of the extruded edges,
this should fix you problem.

[edit] It would probably help if I read what you said before I posted :D

try and reset the smoothing groups and redo them. You say there's a meshsmooth on top? hmmmm

OK, I found what the problem was.
i had some faces under the end of the suit that connected the legs to the torso, so i deleted them.

I guess this what happens when u have 3 polygones coming from one edge
