CGTalk - maya 4.5 to 4.0

well ive got a question that i think might of been answerd already but cant find it. To the point is there a way to take a scene that was made in 4.5 and save it in 4.0. my scene is just a polygon model with know data that i would think would be unfanilar to 4.0

So i hope some one can help me with this quetion its realy important thnks for any help
