Nice work. I think that you could try adding some reflections to the letters that are rotating above, i mean the kind of reflections you get for like a second when the light hits the object from about 45º from the camera, and the object rotates reflecting it for an instant...
I like the background... maybe you should give more contrast to the letters, to make them stand out from the background.

I'm working on a logo too for a company, but the concept is not ready jet, i'll post it for critiques when we get the concept and i get the permission to make it public.

yeah well... i had 3 days to come up with it... make it and all..
and i showed the overall concept to the guy that hired me... and after it was finished he only sayd it sucked and blew me off... so i guess changeing it wont matter

thanks for the reply... you are right with the light.. a few changes could make it look tv worth

For future assignments, I suggest this...he probably declined it b/c it didn't have anything to do with the company or it didn't show what type of company it was. The thing about logos is that it must show something that says to the audience "this is what we're about". Let's say there was a company selling cookies...and the name was "COOKIE"...maybe you'd you want the C and KIE to fly up then two cookies roll in for the O's...That's what I mean.

I don't know what his company is for, but if anything that would be a reason I would decline your ad...it wouldn't show what it's for
