Is it possible to render two images, utilizing multi-pass, one using radiosity and the other using caustics, and put them together and have the final image look the same as if I rendered one image using both caustics and radiosity and the same time?

I'm thinking this can't be done, but it doesn't hurt to ask. :)

Sure it can.

Sure it can.

Could you explain how? If this is true, then I will definitely want to know how its exactly done.

It works exactly as you described in your own posting. In the rendersettings->Multipass list include Radiosity and Caustics.

The scene I'm working on uses 3D shaders, mostly Nukei. The material channels in the multi-pass list: do they apply to 3D shaders also, or just to 'Materials'?
