Hey guys, Stupid question for you all.

I am making guages for an aircraft panel. The edges of the gauges have to be smooth. So what I do is, I trace the outline of the gauge with a spline, the extrude to the desired depth. I dont try to Meshsmooth, we all know what that does to splines. And when I select the edges and try to chamfer them, it screws them up. Is there an easy way to create the smoothed edge look?

Well, you can trace the outline, then copy it and scale it down, you can do this as many times as you want, to get the outlines of the fillet.Then use these sections to mesh it by applying cross-section and surface.
