View Full Version : Turn off curve animation temporarily
Dudeman 10-15-2002, 06:46 PM Hey all,
IS there a function to be able to turn off and on an animation curve(Graph Editor) such as Z translation? In other words deactivate it and then activate it?
Thanks!

not directly afaik..
but you can delete the connection from the animation curve to the objects transform in hypergraph..
if you know a slight bit about mel you could write a mel script that does that for you..
cheers

I wrote a script to do this a while back..
You can find it in highend3d.com
it's called Muffler
It works pretty well.. though since then I found another way to do it a little bit better... I should write another script... too lazy :)
if you don't find it in hightend, you can get it from my webpage on www.digital-dreams.net
Enjoy

You can select the animation curve node, and turn its node state to Blocking. That will turn it off. Then flip the node state back to Normal when you want it to start solving again.
