there is an update on adobe's website that will fix/help this problem.

I kept on crashing almost any time I was using the magic wand or paint bucket so I decided to see if there were updates. There was an update a couple months ago I guess.

This update is for multiprocessor machines. It's just simply replacing a file in the extensions/plugins folder.

I get this error when starting up PS CS2 : "Could not load the Multiprocessor Support module because it does not work with ti\his verison of Photoshop". I have updated the module from adobe. I run win x64 on a dual dual-core xeon HT system. I experince sporadic crashes of PS. Does anyone experience anything similar or know how to fix it? Thanks.
