Hello, i have quite some experience in LW. Normally, to make scenes look more realistic, i turn off ambient lighting, or at least make it extremely low, and put fill lights myself. Can this same technique be done in Vue? i've been trying to but i'm not sure which controls to adjust. There's just so many sliders that control ambient-type lighting in Vue.

Anyway, are the most realistic Vue scenery done by reducing ambient light and putting fill lights manually?

Yes, Vue has as extraordinary amount of controls.The best thing to do is review the index and shoot through the manual. Boomark the aspects you'ld like cover in detail and try the tutorial pages. Once you get the tutorials down, test different adjustments. Lighting is much more involved than it is in Lightwave....in agood way
